Meet the Team
Ngon Vietnam Cooking Class is operated by a husband and wife team, Chef Duyen and Co-Chef Justin. Originally meeting on a tour of Đồng Xuân Market in Hanoi. Together, Chef Duyen and Mr. Justin share a passion for Vietnamese food, cooking, and discovering the freshest locally sourced ingredients and produce.
Born in Northern Vietnam, Chef Duyen has been immersed in Vietnamese cuisine from an early age. Her deep understanding of Vietnam's rich food culture and history is evidence of her passion for her country. Chef Duyen's cooking knowledge combined with her market expertise have been happily shared with countless students from around the world.
Co-Chef Justin hails from the US. He has nearly 10 years experience working behind the scenes in television and cooking shows in Los Angeles. Including shows such as Top Chef and Top Chef: Just Desserts. Co-Chef Justin is also a graduate of Ballymaloe Cookery School in County Cork, Ireland.
